On-site activities

Our campsite is ideally located between lakes, mountains and volcanoes. You won't have time to get bored! L’Air du Temps in Beaulieu is an excellent base from which to explore the entire region.

But before setting out to conquer the surrounding area, take advantage of everything that Camping l’Air du Temps has to offer you. You can exchange a few balls on the ping-pong table, take a walk in the green hectare of park, or simply share pleasant moments in the common room.

At 500 meters from your campsite, surrounded by nature in the Sancy-Artense region, go to the port of Beaulieu, where we can you rent a boat without a license with cabin. You have the option of renting the boat for a day or half a day. The only requirement: to have navigation experience.

A new way of traveling: Slow tourism

With Camping l’Air du Temps, you can try your hand at Slow Tourism. This is alternative tourism, which offers you the opportunity to travel in a more environmentally friendly way.

You choose to take the time, to (re)discover preserved and authentic spaces, while enjoying the calm and the disconnection< /strong>.

Two castles steeped in history

In a few steps, you will be at the Château du Val, a waterfront castle, which is one of the best preserved historical monuments in Haute-Auvergne. Organize a visit to this little piece of history, enjoy its beach and enjoy the many water activities on offer.

Don't miss the Château de Thynières. The remains of this 10th century fortress offer a superb view of the Dordogne Valley.

The Lake of Bort-les-Orgues

At Camping l'Air du Temps in Beaulieu, we do not have a swimming pool, because a few steps away you will find the Lac de Bort-les-Orgues with its beautiful beaches and its nautical activities. You can try your hand at water skiing, canoeing, or settle down on one of the lake's beaches: the Plage du Château de Valand the Plage de Beaulieu.

A few kilometers from our campsite in the countryside, discover the Puy de Sancy, the highest peak of the Massif Central. With its mountain-like appearance, Puy de Sancy is a real volcano. The most determined among you can go up there on foot. At certain times of the year, cable cars are available.

Villages of character

In the surroundings of our family campsite in Sancy Artense, you will discover villages of character. We recommend the thermal resorts of La Bourboule and Mont-Dore, where you will discover numerous hiking trails for the whole family and magnificent waterfalls.
